Energy 101

You’re busy, we’re busy. Let’s break this energy stuff down to the quick and dirty. If you flip your switches at your business, chances are you’re burning nuclear or coal energy. Coal-fired power plants spew nasties like carbon dioxide and mercury into our skies. The fewer lights you turn on, the less coal has to be burned. Nuclear might have cleaner emissions but the waste is notoriously bad – think hazmat suits and radioactive barrels. Oh, and there’s that whole issue of Chernobyl and Three Mile Island…

Simply put: use less energy = save the planet and sacks of cash.

Figuring out ways to reduce your energy bills without negatively impacting your customers experience seems like it might be a challange, but once you get started, you will see all kinds of ways to reduce energy, and remember for every $1 less you spend in energy, that is $1 more profit for your business.
